Kids Cafe
Each month our Resident Caterer Tania Watson of Flavaz, LLC curates a home cooked meal for the scholars our of community. One Monday from 5:30 to 7:30pm school aged children, their siblings, and parents join us for fun activities and meaningful discussions over a hot meal.
Summer Literacy
Scholars in grades three through eight join us for a six week learning program. During this time we work with them on a Reading, Writing, and Mathematical Literacy Curriculum. We also expose the youth to different activities such as Music Production, Painting, and Culinary Arts. In 2024 we took the scholars on a field trip to the Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C.
